Performer in AFTER

With a BA in philosophy from University of Rennes, Simon Tanguy studied contemporary dance, physical theater and clowning at the Samovar school in Paris. In 2011, he graduated from the SNDO (School for New Dance Development) at the National Conservatory of Amsterdam. He danced as a performer with choreographers like Boris Charmatz, Deborah Hay, Maud Le Pladec or even Jeanine Durning. He also practices Body Weather, a dance by Min Tanaka. In 2011, he created the solo piece Japan, co-produced by Théâtre de la Ville de Paris and received the ITS choreography award in Amsterdam in 2011. The trio Gerro, Minos and Him received the 2nd prize of the Danse Élargie 2010 award at the Théâtre de la Ville de Paris and the prize for best choreography at the Theater Haus in Stuttgart. In 2013, he created his company Propagande C.
