A graduate form the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris, Clémence then trained at the Merce Cunningham studio in New York and then she followed the EXERCE training at the Center Chorégraphique National de Montpellier (2001). She began her performing career alongside Herman Diephuis, and subsequently worked with Fabrice Ramalingom, Christian Bourigault, Olivia Grandville, Loic Touzé and Emmanuelle Huynh. Later, she joined the Woudi-Tat duo. She took part in the expeditions of the Clowns Sans Frontières and the Mécaniques Savantes de La Machine de Nantes. She worked with the choreographers Pierre Droulers, Fabrice Lambert, David Wampach and Hélène Iratchet. Finally, in 2014, she was part of the Retrospective project by Xavier Le Roy at the Center Pompidou.
Clémence has been working with the DCA – Philippe Decouflé Company since 2006. She has danced in the Sombrero, Octopus and Contact creations, and took part as well as collaborated in all the company’s side projects. She recently assisted Philippe Decouflé in the choreographic creation for Bruno Dumont’s musical Jeannette, and danced in the last piece of the Mille plateaux associés, Saltare. She is also a performer of the latest creations by Olivia Grandville, A l’Ouest, and Fabrice Ramalingom.
